Today we are fortunate to have Amanda, owner of Little Lotus Yoga, on the blog! Amanda has three children under 6 and has been running Little Lotus for 12 years in Ottawa. She is a savvy businesswoman and often works with small business owners to help them reach higher heights. Today she tells us about the benefits of prenatal yoga.
As expectant parents we spend a lot of time walking through the aisles of our local bookstores thumbing through all the books to see which ones we need to buy. We read website after website and blog and after blog to absorb every parenting tip (good and bad!) and creating lists of things we feel we need to buy for our sweet baby.
I have been there, I bought all the books (some are still unread!), I scoured the web for every tip and I joined all the mom groups. The best thing I did when I was expecting our first child? Was to prepare mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually for the labour I hoped for and to birth my baby into a world full of love.
Prenatal Yoga is accessible to all individuals no matter what stage of pregnancy you are in. Whether you are having a singleton or twins, if you have complications or not.
